Qt is a cross-platform application framework and widget toolkit. It is primarily used for developing GUI applications and has a wide range of features and tools that make it easy to design and deploy rich applications on multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. Qt was developed by the Norwegian company Trolltech and is now maintained by the Qt Company. Its name stands for "cutie" or "cute".
